Pratt Institute’s Brooklyn campus is in the Clinton Hill neighborhood. At the northeast corner of the campus is the Chemistry-Engineering-Machinery Buildings complex. Interior walkways connect the three buildings. Pratt engaged Matiz Architecture & Design (MAD) Architecture firm to assess the existing conditions of the windows at the four-story Machinery Building and the Engineering Building and translate the assessment to construction documents for a contractor’s scope of work. Approximately 37 Window Types with over 186 Masonry Openings includes various window types such as wood double-hung, multi-lite steel with hopper lites, and arched windows.
